Turkey Meatloaf Recipe

The pilgrims had nothing on this recipe. Including cranberry sauce.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lbs. ground turkey breast

1/4 c. onion finely chopped

1/2 c. grated carrots

1/4 c. celery finely chopped

1 c. dried braed crumbs

1/2 c. turkey or chicken broth

1/2 tsp. sage

1/2 tsp. chicken seasoning

1 egg

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. pepper

1 c. cranberry sauce

Mix all ingredients excluding cranberry sauce in a large mixing bowl. Use a 9×5 meatloaf pan, and gently pat down leaving a small edge or ‘trough’ around the meat to allow for grease run – off. Bake until loaf is firm and brown – taking approxamately an hour. Remove from oven and smother with cranberry sauce.
